We came during lunch to get a to go order. We didn't order ahead bit our food was still ready in a flash. We got onion rings and hush puppies for our sides with Chopped BBQ sandwiches. As I am picky about slaw I elected to get mine on the side, to my surprise I liked it. The BBQ taste great without any sauce on it, very flavorful. However they do offer one signature sauce which is very thin and soaks into the sandwich instead of making a big mess like some. I would prefer to have a couple of options for BBQ sauce but theirs was still good. Our food tasted phenomenal and we recommend giving it a try. In addition to the great food, the service was fast and friendly. We will be back!

Absolutely wonderful and helpful service, so I'm not trying to bash this place, but... Maybe this isn't Real Q's fault, maybe it's Carolina's in general, but after living in Texas for 2 yrs and trying both St. Louis and Memphis BBQ in person recently, I'm genuinely curious what people find good about this? The mushy, flavorless pork was really, really disappointing.

Great local place. Food is good. Staff is nice. Booth we sat at was very worn out. Felt like I was sinking. But that’s my only complaint. Everything else is good. Best onion rings I’ve had in ages.

Apparently, we dined on an off night.The barbecue chicken was dry,chopped pork watery, and lacking flavor. Will definitely be back to try again. I have read the reviews from others and somewhat miffed.

Got the chopped sandwich. It was good, and you could taste that smoke.. Got the fried okra. It was good. Ladies behind the counter were real nice.

Delicious Pork BBQ. Pork was moist, hush puppies and fried okra were perfectly crisp on the outside and warm on the inside. Sweet tea was just right with it all. This was our first time having Lexington-style BBQ - it was great. Staff were very friendly and helped suggest some good things to try. Definitely be a place to try.

The decor was pretty awesome and nostalgic! The food was delicious and a nice serving size! Definitely our new go to BBQ joint!!! The staff was super friendly as well I can't wait to go back

Fantastic food and wonderful staff! My entire family loves the BBQ & fixings. I do not like NC BBQ but with a little thick sauce on it it's perfect for me also! 😆
